El martes 24 de septiembre no se laborara en el cantón Portoviejo por conmemorarse unas de las fiestas más tradicionales y de arraigo cultural en honor a la patrona de la capital manabita de la “VIRGEN DE LA MERCEDES“.
La jornada de trabajo se recuperara con una hora diaria a partir del 25 de septiembre durante 8 días laborables.
